An unusual rare location piece.  The Rutile is present as acicular dark brown crystals replacing tabular bladed Brookite in a Quartz and mica matrix.  Rutile has been known from the Carrock Mine tungsten veins for some time but to my knowledge evidence of Brookite has not previously been seen.
