Pyromorphite from Kinniside Mine was described by Sir Arthur Russell as “excellent specimens of Pyromorphite in the form of crusts of small bright grass-green prisms". This is a typical example – the crystals are less than 1mm but the crystals are undamaged and the colour is striking.
