A rare location piece from an obscure locality.  Sparse blood red microcrystalline Carminite overgrows microcrystalline Beudantite and a few prismatic white Mimetite crystals in a massive grey-green Scorodite and quartz veinstone.  The Howthwaite Stone trial is a couple of surface pits close to the eastern end of East Sandbed Mine barite workings.
